Dane County Farmers' Market
The Dane County Farmers' Market is held on the Capitol Square every Saturday from 6:15am to 1:45pm. It is the largest producer-only farmers' market in the county.
Memorial Union

Olbrich Botanical Gardens
Olbrich Botanical Gardens is a 16 acre outdoor botanical garden and 10,000-square-foot conservatory. Whether it's live music, a special exhibit, a plant sale, or one of the many other programs, there's always something to do and see at the Gardens.
Picnic Point
A nearly mile-long peninsula along Lake Mendota's south shore, Picnic Point is one of Madison's most distinctive features. A great destination for those looking for a bike ride, run, or casual hike.
Henry Vilas Zoo
The Henry Vilas Zoo is one of only a handful of admission-free, community-supported zoos in the county. The zoo features exhibits and attractions for the whole family! It is open daily from 9:30am to 5:00pm.
Madison Children's Museum
The Madison Children's Museum offers hands-on learning experiences for children. The museum has exhibits on history, culture, science, the arts, health, and civic engagement. MCM is open Wednesday–Sunday, 9am–4pm, with free admission each Thursday evening, 4pm–8pm.
The Biergarten at Olbrich Park
View the downtown skyline over Lake Monona with friends and family and a cold drink in hand! Bring your own picnic or enjoy locally crafted soft pretzels, brats, or fresh cheese curds. The biergarten is open Mon-Thu 4pm to 10pm, Fri 3pm-10pm, and noon to 10pm Sat/Sun/Holiday.
