Fort Popham State Historic Site

Blue enjoyed her tour around the outside of Fort Popham (doggies aren't allowed inside) - but we highly recommend humans go inside to explore this piece of local history! Fort Popham is a Civil War-era coastal defense fortification at the mouth of the Kennebec River in Phippsburg.
