All wedding guests are required to have received a COVID-19 vaccine (except for kids under 12). Masks are not required but welcome and encouraged if you would like to wear one.
As an indoor/outdoor venue, the amazing team at the 1774 Inn are following the latest indoor and outdoor regulations set by the State of Maine. All staff working at the wedding are also vaccinated. Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside. Dinner will be served family-style in the Inn's barn with large barn doors open on both ends to create a covered and open-air dining space. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony and cocktail hour will also be held in the open-air barn space as well. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us! Our goal is to create the safest space for everyone so we all feel like we can relax, celebrate, and be together.
Yes! We have arranged for shuttle bus transportation to and from the venue. Please check our Schedule tab for the shuttle schedule.
Parking is extremely limited at the venue. We would prefer guests who are staying in Bath to take advantage of the transportation we are providing from Bath, ME to the Inn and back at the end of the night. However, if you do need to drive or prefer to drive, there is limited parking available at the local library neighboring The 1774 Inn. Parking will be clearly marked with signs.
As much as we want all the doggies, please leave them at home for this event. Blue will join us for the ceremony and then return to her very pressing nap schedule.
Kids are welcome at this wedding, but we also know that sometimes parents want a night off. Whatever is best for your family works for us. If your kiddos will be joining us, please let us know in advance so we can tell our caterer.
Yes, the ceremony will be video recorded and we will have it available shortly after the wedding for anyone who can't attend in person but would still like to celebrate.
