This is our favorite coffee spot in the Marina, just a block from where we live! Their breakfast burrito is a must order, don’t miss the crispy prosciutto it’s a game-changer. We love to head straight to the Presidio with a warm coffee in hand to enjoy gorgeous views!
Presidio of San Francisco
Our Saturday morning walk destination, filled with some of the most beautiful views in the city! Stop by the Presidio green to grab some food truck bites, and continue on to the Tunnel Tops park to overlook the Golden Gate Bridge - chefs kiss.
The Walt Disney Family Museum
A Newton favorite!! A charming museum in the Presidio dedicated to Walt Disney’s life and creative legacy. Beautiful exhibitions, original sketches, and lots of behind-the-scenes magic. A great stop if you’re already exploring the Presidio.
Palace of Fine Arts
Simply majestic. The Palace of Fine Arts was built in 1915 for the World Fair, never gets old. Great to loop into your Presidio walk!

Balboa has been part of SF nightlife since 1913 and hasn’t lost its draw. Always packed for a reason, highly recommend their espresso martinis.
Bus Stop
Another SF classic. Bus stop is a great place to get the best priced beer bucket in town or end the night!
Flores San Francisco
Good Mexican food, strong margaritas, and great tacos. It’s right in the middle of Union Street, perfect place to start the night.
The Buena Vista
This is where the Irish coffee originated! We are not huge Fisherman's Wharf people, but this place is an establishment and right near Aquatic Cove (great place for a cold plunge- if you're into that)
Coit Tower
Perched on Telegraph Hill with sweeping views of the Bay. Coit Tower was built in the 1930s with money left by Lillie Hitchcock Coit, who loved SF’s firefighters, which is why people say the tower looks like a fire hose.
Original Joe's
Old-school Italian-American: leather booths, crisp tuxedo jackets servers, great food, and the kind of martinis that make you sit up a little straighter. Right in the heart of North Beach, great place to grab a bite or drink before Welcome Drinks on Friday.

Salesforce Tower
The tallest building in the city! Salesforce tower, where our lovely bride is an Account Executive! Last year Meg was considered in the top 5% of Account Executives in the entire company. Fun fact: the tower lights up every night with different video's taken from all over the city!
Ferry Building
The iconic Ferry Building on the Embarcadero and home base for ferries to Sausalito and Tiburon. Check schedules ahead of time and download the Clipper app to save on tickets!

This was the first restaurant I went to with the Newton family when I came to visit San Francisco for the first time! Close to where most of you will be staying for the weekend.
Tonga Room & Hurricane Bar
A legendary kitschy tiki bar inside the Fairmont Hotel with a pool in the middle, indoor rainstorms, and tropical cocktails. It’s over-the-top in the best possible way and a fun stop for groups.

A moody, lively Nob Hill spot with great wine by the glass, beer on tap, and really good food. Always a scene, always fun, and just a short walk from the University Club.

San Francisco Trolley Cars
Each hotel we have listed sit right on 2 of the original Trolley car lines! Pay with the Clipper app on your phone or buy tickets at the turnaround. They also take credit cards on board. Just line up, hop on, and hang on! They’re a very fun way to see the city.
