Things To Do

Grand Central Terminal

89 East 42nd Street, New York, NY 10017

Cliché, we know, but there is something so special about Grand Central. It is definitely touristy, but it has some great people watching. It’s also special to us because we would often take the train from Fordham to Grand Central with friends or on dates.

Jane's Carousel

Dock Street, Dumbo, NY 11201

Great area to walk around and people watch! We had one of our early dates here, and it ended up being where Emily proposed in June 2024. Lots of great shopping and restaurants around Dumbo. If the weather's nice, walk across the Brooklyn Bridge!

Smorgasburg Williamsburg

90 Kent Avenue, Williamsburg, NY 11211

Smorgasburg is an amazing outdoor food market with tons of vendors. Definitely recommend walking around and grabbing a bite.

Artists & Fleas Market Williamsburg

70 North 7th Street, Williamsburg, NY 11249

Locally curated flea market! Locations in Williamsburg and Chelsea.

Arlo Williamsburg Rooftop

96 Wythe Avenue, Williamsburg, NY 11249

Great views from the Arlo rooftop-they also have an old water tower turned bar!

Cafe Colette

79 Berry Street, Williamsburg, NY 11249

Great food, great drinks, great vibes.

L'Industrie Pizzeria

254 South 2nd Street, Williamsburg, NY 11211

Best pizza in Williamsburg!

Black Seed Bagels - Williamsburg

214 Berry Street, Williamsburg, NY 11249

Our favorite bagel spot!

Veselka

646 Lorimer Street, New York, NY 11211

Williamsburg and East Village. Pierogies to die for!

Rule of Thirds

171 Banker Street, Greenpoint, NY 11222

Incredible Japanese restaurant!

Skinny Dennis

152 Metropolitan Avenue, Williamsburg, NY 11211

Honky-tonk-themed dive bar. For our Texas people, they serve Lone Star!

abcV

38 East 19th Street, New York, NY 10003

Our first date spot (when Meg was a vegetarian)! Emily eventually helped changed that with Texas BBQ.

Altro Paradiso

234 Spring Street, New York, NY 10013

Great brunch if you're exploring in Soho. Keep your eyes peeled for celebs… Allegedly, this is Beyoncé's favorite spot in NYC.

The Spotted Owl Tavern

211 Avenue A, New York, NY 10009

Our favorite East Village bar (not a restaurant, but still worth a visit). Say hi to Nadia or Alex for us!
