FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! The dress code for Friday’s welcome party is cocktail attire. The dress code for our wedding is colorful formal. A lot of y'all have come all this way so, let's dress up! Cowboy boots are always welcome :)

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate formally invited guests. Please check your invite.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love all the young ones in our lives, but this will be an adults-only event.

Question

Will events be outside or inside?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors, with the reception indoors, all at 99 Scott. Don't worry about your heels! There will not be uneven grassy areas to get stuck in.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive promptly at 5 pm for pre-ceremony drinks and to take your seat for our 5:30 ceremony start.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There will be shuttles at The William Vale Hotel for guests staying there and at surrounding hotels (Coda, Arlo, and The Hoxton). Shuttles will depart from North 13th Street outside the William Vale at 4:40pm, 4:45pm, and 4:50pm. Shuttles will pick guests up at the venue at 10:30pm, 11:00pm, and 12:10am. Ubers and cabs are readily available in Manhattan and Brooklyn, so no need to rent a car. If you're looking to have the true New York experience, you can always take the subway!

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

At cocktail hour and reception, YES! Please take as many photos and videos as you'd like during these parts of our wedding. We can't wait to see how you captured the night. However, our ceremony will be unplugged, meaning please do not take any photos or videos during the ceremony. We want all of our loved ones to be present as we say I Do. Our amazing photographer will capture the ceremony for everyone.

Question

WIll the food be allergy friendly?

Answer

Yes, but please list your restrictions and allergies on your RSVP. We believe food is a communal experience and will be serving dinner family-style. We want to keep everyone safe and fed!
