Zack & Megan met at a wedding in which Zack was a groomsman and Megan was a bridesmaid (thanks Chris and Liz!). They hit it off at the rehearsal dinner where they quickly bonded over a mutual dislike of avocados. The next day at the wedding, Megan and Zack danced for the first time and had their first kiss on the dance floor. They stayed awake all night talking and laughing with one another, and the rest was history. Their first official date was a walk through Belle Isle in Richmond Virginia, where Zack would propose to Megan 2 and a half years later on March 10th, 2024.

Zack went above and beyond for his proposal to Megan, planning a day from start to finish with her best friends involved. Little did Megan know, Zack had been planning and hiding the ring from her for months. Zack's proposal led Megan on a scavenger hunt to some of their favorite places in Richmond, with one of her best friends waiting for her at each location with the next clue. Megan's girls, Tyra, MK, and Claiborne, helped her get all dressed up and ready to meet up with her soon-to-be fiance, who was waiting for her at the spot of their very first date--Belle Isle. It was there that Zack got on one knee and asked Megan to be his wife. Megan responded with the surest yes of her life. They could hear shouts and congratulations by all of the people walking across the Belle Isle Bridge. It was the perfect day that ended with a surprise engagement party with Zack and Megan's closest friends and family.
