As of May 28th, Rocklands Farm Winery will follow the State of Maryland COVID restrictions. Maryland lifted their statewide mask-mandate and capacity limits/restrictions on May 15th, however this does not supersede any restrictions or limitations put in place by independent businesses.
In accordance with Maryland Executive Order #21-05-14-01, masks will be required by all guests in the hotel indoor public spaces, when onboard the shuttle to and from the venue, and while at the food stations and bar during the reception. Otherwise, masks are not required, but strongly encouraged for unvaccinated individuals especially while indoors.
If you have been fully vaccinated, you do not need to take a test. If you have not been vaccinated, please take a COVID-19 test 2-3 days prior to attending in order to keep our loved ones safe. If you test positive for COVID-19, or feel any flu- or cold-like symptoms, we ask that you respectfully refrain from attending to keep all of our guests safe. Thank you.
Yes, the bride and groom were fully vaccinated for COVID-19 in April 2021. Additionally, over 73% of guests attending the wedding have been vaccinated.

Yes, you may drive directly to Rocklands Farm Winery, however, venue parking is limited and the back roads could make it challenging when driving at night. We recommend that you utilize the shuttle service provided, and have a worry-free evening! Please do not rely on Uber as they do not pick up guests from Rocklands Farm Winery late at night.
We have been informed that Uber will take you to Rocklands Farm Winery, but will NOT come pick up at the end of the night. For this reason, we ask that you do your best to utilize the shuttle services provided, because we do not want you to have to worry about transportation. The shuttle will pick you up and drop you off at the Residence Inn in Gaithersburg. Please see the FAQ on Shuttle Services for more details. If you do not feel comfortable taking the shuttle, you may drive, but venue parking is limited.
Yes, please wear semi-formal attire. The wedding colors are earth-tones (blush, rose, and olive green), so please refrain from wearing very bright or bold colors. The ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will be held in a well-ventilated barn with open windows and fans. The terrain outdoors can be a little uneven at times (grass and gravel), so please wear appropriate footwear (i.e. flats, low-stack heels, or wedges).
The bride and groom ask that you please refrain from taking your own photos during the ceremony. There will be two photographers on site to capture the moment, so please experience the moment with the bride and groom! They will share photos from the ceremony after the wedding. You are welcome to take photos during the reception and post online using the hashtag #NothingWeCantHanDell.
Unfortunately, due to wedding venue and COVID-19 restrictions, our guest list is limited only to those who have received an invitation. Refer to your invitation, or the RSVP tab, for the names of guests from your household.
Yes! There will be dining options for anyone following a vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, or gluten-free diet. But please reach out to the bride and groom for specific accomodations.
For any food allergies, please notify the bride and groom accordingly, and we will ensure you have a meal prepared separately.
Please RSVP by May 1, 2021 on the RSVP tab of this website.
