Take a hike through the 60 acres of woods that are perfect for adventurers or nature lovers looking to unwind before or after the ceremony.
Enjoy the tranquility of the little beach down by the Little Muskegon river. About a 20 minute walk from the reception area, this little “beach” is a perfect spot for dipping your toes or soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. Do be warned: the hike back up is pretty steep and killer. Definitely worth it though!
After sunset, join us for a cozy fire to cap off the evening. It’s a great way to mingle, relax, and enjoy the magic of the night.
This lookout point, officially named AnnMarie Lookout but deemed “the Million Dollar View” by my family, showcases a beautiful view onto the river down below and overlooks hundreds of treetops. This view is about a 15-20 minute walk from the reception area and is public property, not a part of our 60 acres. A Google search didn’t give me any background information or history on the lookout, but oddly enough, it shares both mine and Megan’s middle names (Anne and Marie). I think it’s a sign!
