Tanner and Megan met in June of 2019 at Carowinds. Tanner worked in the games department and Megan worked as a face painter for the local artist company Kaman's Art Shoppes. Despite Tanner’s numerous attempts to capture Megan's heart, she played hard to get for several months. Eventually on September 10th, 2019, they made things official and have been inseparable since. In 2020, they moved into a quaint apartment in Charlotte, NC and adopted their beloved Husky/Doberman mix Diesel. In April of 2021, Tanner bought a house in Hamlet, NC. Fast forward to December 20, 2022, Tanner and Megan embarked on a vacation to London, England where Tanner proposed in Victoria Park.

Before the journey to London, Tanner was very adamant on getting professional photos done while they were in England. Little did Megan know, there would be more to the photos. On December 20, 2022, Tanner and Megan took a quiet train ride to Victoria Park in London. The photoshoot started out as normal, with calm chats while exploring the park. Eventually Tanner stopped underneath one of the trees and decided that enough time had passed and got down on one knee. The rest is history! We can't wait to celebrate with you! See you in Banner Elk!
