If you're making more of a vacation out of your trip we highly recommend these places to visit within 30-90min travel: - Golden: Lookout Mountain, Coors Brewery tour, Clear Creek river park/tubing, shops/dining -Idaho Springs: historic mountain town with cute shops and dining, mining tours, Rafting, Zip Lining -Rocky Mountain National Park: Estes park, hiking, camping, horseback riding. Permits required for hiking. -Breckenridge: Historic mountain town, shops, dining, Gondola to mountain top with adventure park, kayaking nearby Lake Dillon, check out Sapphire Point Overlook -Colorado Springs: Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs and cliff dwellings, Pikes Peak Cog railway, US Olympics museum, US Air Force Academy

The 16th Street FreeRide, provides free transportation along 16th Street in downtown Denver, stopping at every intersection between Union Station and Civic Center Station. Points of interest along the route: Larimer Square, Denver Performing Arts Complex, Skyline Park and clocktower, Denver Convention Center, Denver Capitol building.

The neighborhood streets surrounding the park (Wazee, Blake, Market, Larimer) are top spots for rooftop food and drink, and if you're looking for high energy nightlife. These streets host McGregor Square - an urban plaza with large screen for sports entertainment, Marquis Theater and Summit - small concert venues, and Ophelia's Electric Soapbox - dining with live music.

Highly recommended! Free to walk to venue grounds, museum, and many surrounding easy hiking trails with amazing views. Just make sure to check out the concert schedule and go before the concerts. This is a historic venue featuring musical legends performing in the only naturally occurring, acoustically perfect, amphitheater in the world. Free park admission and parking on non-event hours. Check out the music hall of fame, history of Red Rocks museum, or explore the MANY hiking trails around the venue with beautiful views and history of the many red rock formations.
