We met like any other modern couple does, by downloading an app. It really does work! By our third date, it seemed to be too good to be true. We have lived these parallel lives; Ross grew up visiting Snowmass and I grew up in Aspen. Could we have been skiing on the same mountain, at the same time? I like to think so. Later in life, we both took a journey to sobriety at almost the exact same time in 2019; we even moved to Utah in the same month. Coincidence? I think not. Neither of us believe in fate, but maybe we should start. We had our first date in January of 2022 and by August, we decided to move in together. We never looked back! On April 16th, 2023, during a couples photo shoot that I won on Instagram (people actually win those?!), Ross surprised me by asking me to marry him. As a couple we love to hike, ski, kayak, travel and spend time with our dog Finley. We have a lot of big travel plans in the future, so stay tuned. But for now, given the choice, we would spend the night in versus going out. We are definitely home bodies that like to cuddle up with a nice cup of coffee (Ross) or tea (me). Our relationship has been easy from the start, because above all, we approach our love with kindness. It’s impossible to imagine doing life without each other. In the end, I found my person and he found his. - Megan
