Roland and Alex met the first day of high school in JROTC. Many high school teachers were not fans of having them sit together as they were too much of a "distraction." They both ended up at WSU where they spent a lot of time water skiing and wake-boarding in the summer and snowboarding in the winter at Schwitzer. With competitive natures, both partook in a few slalom tournaments together. Distance has not weakened their friendship as they continue to share terrible videos and memes. When they are put back together, it is like no time was ever spent apart much to Megan and Sarah's dismay.
Amanda Slocum
Maid of Honor
Amanda and Megan graduated from the WSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. Despite the distance, they have made the efforts to see each other by going to veterinary conference and exploring national parks. Most recently, they climbed Angels' Landing in Zion National Park. Amanda has always pushed Megan to try new things; especially if it involves being outdoors. Her nickname, "The Wiz", was given to her by Megan's father when she asked to join the Hobbit family as one of the major characters in TLotR. They share a love for Sunset Blush Franzia, simply for the memories and shenanigans that came with it.
Nick Kallis

We became best friends on the first day of 9th grade. We met in JROTC where we were a part of the drill team. We attended many leadership camps together. Occasionally, we went to the east side of Washington to go snowboarding at Schwietzer. We also spent many weekends on the water with Alex. Nick was the one that said we would be friends for a long, long time.
Susan Reynolds

Susan and Megan graduated from the WSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. Susan and her husband, Sean, have always treated Megan like family. Megan has been the third wheel on multiple occasions, including a Valentine's dinner in Pullman. She is often seen as the other wife. After school, Sean would text Megan, who would text back knowing that Susan was looking over his shoulder. They have come to visit Megan with their lovely daughter, Scarlett. The two of them were present at the beginning of her relationship with Roland and will be there through it.
Scott Schafer
Groomsman
Scott is my beloved brother. We may not always see eye-to-eye and he can be a royal pain, he has always been a great friend. Roland and Scott bonded over camping, playing soccer (Roland will state he is the better player), and snowmobiling. They talk almost every day about various car troubles and work. To Roland, Scott is the best brother he could have.
Phylicia Corrigan

Phylicia and Megan have not been friends very long. She started working at the same Banfield Hospital that Megan was working at in January 2019. The two of them started hanging out after work and invited Roland and her husband, Ari, to join them. The group enjoys playing board games together and have taken a Mexican Cruise together. It is a running theme that three of the four will agree or be similar, leaving one out. When all four agree, it will start an apocalypse. Megan is going to be Phylicia's Bridesmaid at her Jurassic Park Hawaii Wedding in May 2022.
Trevor Gradel

Trevor is just well Trevor. He has been a great friend since meeting at our sisters' 1st year of soccer. There have been lots of moments where our parents would just shake their heads. These moments included putting a boat in the pool, racing through the neighborhood in the winter on the snowmobiles/atvs, and playing loud music at the beach on the boat. Tech N9ne was the go to artist. We have had lots of great times on the water and in the mountains and there will be many more.
Matt Engle
Bridesman
Matt and Megan graduated from the WSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. Matt and Megan have known each other since the White Coat Ceremony as alphabetical order fated them to sit next to one another. From bone box partners to Link and Shiek at the Halloween Party, Matt has brought out the character in Megan. Matt and Megan bonded over creative writing. Matt has been a great friend to Megan over the years, despite the distance after school.
