Megan’s cousin and unbiological “seester” Annie was an easy choice for Maid of Honor. These two have been inseparable for as long as they can remember, always cheering each other on through every stage of life—from pretending to be Michelle Kwan and Tara Lipinski in their grandparents’ living room to getting even closer while attending WVU and pursuing careers in medicine. From those fun childhood memories to this exciting new chapter, Megan couldn’t imagine this day without Annie right by her side.

Megan’s oldest friend and co-conspirator in finding the courage to ask Mikey on a date (leading to this very blessed event), Claire has been a special friend through the test of time. From elementary school days spent listening to music together, to navigating all that comes with middle school, and later sharing high school band experiences, the two have grown up side by side. Now colleagues at WVU Medicine, their friendship has come full circle in the most meaningful way. Megan is honored to have Claire by her side as a bridesmaid on her special day.

Megan’s friend and partner in shenanigans, Olivia, is someone she met while they worked together at Harmony—and they’ve been inseparable ever since. The two just “clicked” instantly and became fast friends, with Olivia’s bubbly, laid-back personality balancing Megan’s fiery one (a long story for another time!). Olivia has been a constant source of support for Megan through some of her hardest times, and Megan is so happy and excited to have her by her side on such a special day.

Megan’s friend and high school band buddy, Sara, is married to groomsman Andrew Toepfer. Megan and Sara became close in high school, bonding over their shared love of the Morgantown High School Red and Blue Marching Band. From countless band trips and camps to adventures in Florida and New York City, they’ve made many memories along the way. Today, Sara remains one of Megan’s closest friends, and Megan is so excited to have her standing beside her as a bridesmaid on this special day.

Megan’s friend Sarah is married to groomsman Andrew Leishman, and the two originally met through Mikey—though Megan actually went to school with Andrew and shared the same homeroom back in the day. Sarah has quickly become a close and cherished friend. They’ve bonded over their shared love of marching band, cozy evenings spent talking by the fire, and fun couples’ game nights. Sarah and Megan always manage to make each other laugh, and Megan is so excited to have her standing beside her as a bridesmaid.

Megan’s sister-in-law, Brianna, is Mikey’s sister and has been one of the very first to warmly welcome Megan into the family. From the beginning, Bri has made Megan feel right at home, and their bond has only grown stronger over time. Together, Megan, Mikey, and Bri enjoy exploring new restaurants and trying different foods, all while sharing plenty of laughs and sarcastic quips along the way. Megan is so excited to have Bri by her side as a bridesmaid on such a special day.

Best Man
One of Mikey’s oldest and best friends, the two met in early childhood at St. Francis Central Catholic School and have been partners in chaos ever since. After a lifetime of friendship, countless memories, and more than a few questionable decisions, there’s no one Mikey would rather have by his side as his Best Man on the big day! He’s also married to bridesmaid Sara Toepfer, making this longtime friendship even more special as they both stand beside us on our wedding day.

Built on years of nonsense, endless laughs, and a mutual love of sports, he’s been a constant in Mikey’s life. As an added bonus, he’s married to bridesmaid Sarah Leishman, making them a pretty great package deal in our wedding party!

Megan’s “niece,” Emily, is the perfect mix of sweet and strong—part girly fashionista and beauty consultant, part multi-sport athlete. Wise beyond her years, Emily brings a fun and thoughtful energy to everyone around her, and Mikey and Megan love spending time with her. Emily will be turning 12 shortly after the wedding, and the couple feel so blessed to have her as their Junior Bridesmaid on such a special day.

Megan’s “nephew,” Alexander, is a smart, funny, and energetic little boy who brings so much joy and happiness to the family. At just 3 years old, he has already captured everyone’s hearts with his curious mind, playful personality, and sweet sense of humor. Megan and Mikey love watching Alex grow and learn, often finding themselves inspired by his childlike view of the world. They are confident he will take his role as Ring Security very seriously, and have no doubt he will charm all of our guests with his adorable smile on the big day.
