Dakota is not just my brother—he’s my best friend, my biggest supporter, and one of the most important people in my life. We’ve come a long way from our childhood days of bickering and driving each other crazy, to being two adults who couldn’t imagine life without one another. He’s the person I turn to for advice—even when it’s hard to hear—because I know it always comes from a place of honesty and love. He sees both sides, keeps my secrets better than anyone, and always has my back. He’s loyal, trustworthy, silly, and genuinely one of the kindest souls I know. I feel incredibly lucky to call him my brother—and even luckier to call him my best friend (or maybe it’s the other way around). Best Woman
Having my sister Karina as my Best Woman on my wedding day is one of the greatest honors of my life. She's not just my sister, she's my lifelong confidante, my voice of reason, and the person who knows me better then anyone else. She's been there for me since the very beginning, we've shared everything from childhood dreams to grown-up heart aches. Choosing her to stand beside me today wasn't just about tradition or titles, it was about love, trust, and the deep bond we share as siblings. She knows all my stories, all my secrets, and somehow chooses to always have my back and still love me. She was always the one who stood in goal any time we played street hockey - never backing down and always showing up. As I step into the next chapter of my life with her behind me, I have the strength to win any game or challenge life throws at me. Through every chapter of my life, she's been there cheering me on when I needed it, calling me out when I deserved it, and always had my back through the hard times. Today, as I step into a new part of my life, it only feels right to have her by my side. Thank you for not only being my sister but my best friend, my goalie, and now my best woman. -Michael
