We met at Buffalo State College, where we both played hockey—Mike on the men’s team, Megan on the women’s. One night, we ended up talking for hours on the porch of the hockey house apartment until the sun came up, and from that moment on, everything just clicked. Over the last six years, we’ve been inseparable—sharing laughs, road trips, hockey tournaments (where Mike usually shows off why he is the better player), four-wheeling, and fishing (where Megan definitely holds the record). We’ve grown together through both the highs and the hard moments, and even got our dog (and honorary son), Gucci. What started as being best friends has grown into a love that we’re so proud of. Now, we’re ready to make it official—and yes, that means more adventures, more laughter, and probably a few more pets (even if Mike doesn’t know it yet—marriage is compromise, right? AKA Megan gets whatever pets she wants and Mike can't complain). Thank you for being such an important part of our lives and our story—no matter which chapter you joined us in, your presence means the world to us.
