This was our 1 bedroom Belle Plaine apartment. No A/C, no amenities, and the windows were so old they didn't open. But we loved this place.

We've both taken up a new sport

Our engagement photos were taken on a bike path close to our condo in Horner Park - Chicago. This bridge crosses the Chicago River. (That's Lane Tech High School in the background)

This is the kitchen where the proposal went down. Marcus popped the question while relaxing in the kitchen, waiting for dinner to cook.

This is our first apartment that we own. Unlike the Belle Plaine one bedroom - the windows open. Marcus is the one with the green thumb.
