What’s the venue like?

Answer

We’ve booked a day camp and it’s pretty cool. Theres big field for fun (volleyball, bocci, lawn games), group cabins within walking distance, a wooden amphitheater where we say "I do", and a communal lodge to sit and enjoy a meal. There’s picnic benches, rocking chairs, campfires, foot paths, patios, and huts. No smoking indoors. Don’t break anything (I’m looking at *you*). Our wedding is DIY so we’ll be setting up to play and stay! There is no body of water. There is a pool- but you cannot swim in the pool - for that time of year it will be covered, unfortunately. But seriously, we are excited to see you and celebrate as one BIG family.

How long am I welcome?

Answer

From Thursday evening to Sunday afternoon (9/17-9/20) Please stay for as long as you’d like, there’s room for everyone. On Thursday we will mostly be setting up. The wedding ceremony is Saturday, then Sunday brunch- clean up and check out 4pm. We know people have busy schedules; whether helping, enjoying the company, or kicking back, you’re welcome to come/stay/leave anytime.

Do I need to stay in a cabin?

Answer

We understand people have different preferences and specific needs. But we picked this space so our loved ones can celebrate carefree and for as lengthy as they’d like. No shuttles, no hotels, no babysitter , and no need for a tent or air mattress. Walk between cabins, shower, take a mid-day nap, change your shoes, do whatever you need. Come celebrate our family growing bigger in the best way we know how.

Which cabin is mine?

Answer

We will assign cabins for everyone based on size of party and specific needs - Don't worry, you will be staying with your family or known friends. We will show you your spot upon arrival. Maps and markings will be available for easy navigation.

What will I need?

Answer

If you're staying, great! You'll need to pack: Pillow & Bedding (Sheets or Sleeping bag - expect twin sized cots - Bring a sleeping mat or topper for extra fluff. ) Toiletries & Bath Towel (each cabin has outlets, heat/air, toilets and a shower -only has toilet paper and hand soap. Pack whatcha need) Bring comfy shoes for dancing and any other typical camping accessories you'd enjoy having.

What if I can’t make it?

Answer

We’re here from Thursday to Sunday — if you can stop by for a day or just to say congrats, we’ll be happy to see you for any length of time. If we don’t see you, know that you were missed, and that you missed out!

What’s the food situation?

Answer

Industrial kitchen (with walk-in fridge plus freezer) will be available to all guests anytime EXCEPT Saturday after 2pm. Theres also a grill and fire pits. We will have burgers, dogs and s’mores available. Dinner will be served Saturday evening for the reception plus Sunday brunch will be provided on site. Food at all other times can be stored/prepared in the kitchen or feel free to break away for a bite at the local town. Wood oven pizza is 6 minutes away.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Absolutely. If you’d rather hire a babysitter so you can be carefree- rock on. If you are referring to a dog, then unfortunately, no you cannot. It is worth noting cribs are not available on site, so please pack whatever your little one will need.

What’s the parking situation?

Answer

Parking IS available on site for all guests however there are places you CANNOT park. Circle back here closer to wedding day for parking info; but all parking information will be available upon arrival and marked on site.
