Miraculously, Megan found this unconventional intro charming, and her curiosity was piqued by this handsome, interesting young man. Two days later, they went on their first date, and they have been inseparable ever since.

Jonathan arranged for a cooking lesson for him and Megan with a professional chef, something Megan had mentioned wanting to do months prior. They ended up being the only two in the class, so it turned into a private lesson! On the way home, Megan remarked to Jonathan that it was the best date she had ever been on, and that is the exact moment when Jonathan decided he couldn't wait any longer to pop the question. They got back to Megan's house and, as Megan had expressed a desire to being wearing a pretty dress during the proposal, he managed to convince her to not immediately change into pajamas (a feat in and of itself). Megan and Jonathan spend a lot of time hanging out at home with their fur babies, Gabby and Mia. They love cooking for each other, binging on Netflix, studying the Bible, board games, and reading. They're active members in their church and love seeing their families whenever possible. Some of their favorite weekends are spent boating on Lake Murray with Megan's parents.
