Flying into Liberia (LIR) is the easiest option for all of you, and there are direct flights from many of your home towns! It is about 1.5hrs from Tamarindo.

We've partnered with a local transportation vendor (3Monkies) to offer a pickup shuttle from the Liberia airport to your hotel or AirBnB and a drop-off service back to the airport on your departure date. The private vans work 24/7, so you can wake up at the beach even if you arrive in the late evening! The trip typically takes around 1.5 to 2 hours. Your driver will meet you at the airport exit, holding a sign with your name once you've collected your luggage. Pricing will vary based on the number of passengers per van. Rental Car
Parking is very limited in Tamarindo and Playa Langosta so often having a car is more of a burden than a benefit. Taxis are plentiful and not expensive to get around town. If you are planning on staying after the wedding, you can arrange for a car to be delivered to your lodging upon check out.
