Air travel

There are three airports in the DC area, all of which are well-served by Lyft and Uber and offer a number of rental car options: Washington Reagan (DCA) is approximately 30 minutes from Fairfax and is generally the easiest and most convenient airport in the DC area, located just 10 minutes from downtown Washington. American, JetBlue, and Southwest offer good service to DCA. Washington Dulles (IAD), the DC area's primary international airport, is also located about 30 minutes from Fairfax. Dulles is a bit farther from downtown DC than DCA, about 45 minutes. United Airlines offers extensive service to Dulles. Baltimore-Washington (BWI) is located about an hour from Fairfax and 45 minutes from downtown Washington. While a bit farther away, BWI is known for low fares and is well-served by Southwest Airlines.

Accommodations

We have reserved a wedding block at the Falls Church Marriott Fairview Park, located about 15 mins away from both St. Charles (ceremony location) and the Fairfax Country Club (reception venue). It is also a short 20 minute drive from downtown Washington DC and under 25 minutes from both DCA and IAD. The group rate is $79 per night, valid between 12/26 and 12/29. If you call, be sure to identify yourself as part of the Morello/Berry Wedding Room Block group. All reservations will need to be guaranteed with a major credit card. Reservations for all guests must be received on or before Thursday, December 5, 2019 to be eligible for the group rate. Of course, feel free to arrange alternative accommodations if you'd prefer. There are many excellent hotel and AirBnb options in the DC area, and in December rates tend to be very reasonable!
