We love all of the children in our lives so so dearly, as you will see with our large wedding party. However, we truly believe a wedding reception is not the most fun place for kids with how loud and chaotic things can be. We kindly ask that our reception (7:15pm and on) is adults only and appreciate you taking the time, effort, and money into finding accommodations. Again, if you have any personal concerns please do not hesitate to reach out to either of us.
The last day to receive our discounted rate through the Virgin Hotel will be October 8th 2024. If you are in the bridal party and require a discounted rate for Thursday as well please reach out to Maria Maginnis at 504.520.0453!
Our ceremony begins promptly at 6:30. Please plan to arrive no later than 15-20 minutes prior to allow yourself time to park, walk in, sign the guest book, and find a seat. New Orleans traffic can be highly unpredictable, so please take this into account when planning out your travels for the night.
We ask that you RSVP no later than October 6th to allow us time to make any necessary adjustments with our vendors, gather final head counts, etc. We will try to send out a reminder text to anyone who has not yet RSVP'd leading up to that date as well. The sooner we know a more accurate head count, the easier it is to make adjustments. We would greatly appreciate if you RSVP in a timely fashion, and please let us know if anything changes with the status of your RSVP(s) as well.
Unfortunately, we are unable to give everyone a plus-one. As you can imagine, the number of people attending is very important when it comes to the planning process of things. With that being said, if we are planning on you bringing an additional person, your formal invitation and/or online RSVP will include that person's name or 'guest'. If you receive your invitation & it appears incorrect, please do not hesitate to reach out as mistakes are inevitable and we want to have as many of our people there as possible!!
We would love for our guests to get all dressed up with us for the night and are requesting formal attire for our wedding day. This can also be referred to as “black tie optional” and includes tuxes and gowns as well as suits and cocktail dresses. We ask no casual clothes, jeans or khaki pants be worn.
