Our story begins in Flagstaff Arizona where we met while attending Northern Arizona University. We had never crossed paths until our Anatomy Lab. Every Thursday evening we both would arrive about an hour early for class. We would sit on opposites sides of the hall and study while anxiously awaiting our next lab exam for the week. Finally one week Geo decided to ask Megan if they could "look over notes together" when really he had forgotten to finish his homework and was looking for some answers. Megan of course knew this, but thought he was really cute so she didn't mind. After class Geo walked over to Megan and asked her on a first date- rock climbing. From that day on, they were inseparable.

We were on a vacation in Mexico with our close friend's Beau and Madison. We had been to Cabo San Lucas 5 years prior and had remembered how beautiful the hike to Lover's Beach had been and decided it would be fun to show them. What had previously been a beautiful hike along the ocean side turned into what you could term a hell hike. We later discovered the sand that we had hiked along before had all been taken away from a hurricane. We spent several hours hiking up and down huge rocks, swimming, nearly being run over by a boat. We thought surely this beautiful beach would be right around the corner. Wrong. We were about to turn back until a local offered to drive us on his boat the rest of the way. Finally we had arrived. While Madison was taking photos Geo got down on one knee and asked "will you marry me?" Megan instantly belted out laughing and said "you're joking, I know you"re joking". It took several moments for her to realize that this was real. It was most definitely not the proposal that you see in the movies, but it was so much better. A moment we will remember forever.
