Transportation & Parking

Answer

We will be providing transportation between each of the day’s events, so when planning your day, you only need to arrange a ride to the first location and home from the final destination. If you prefer to drive to each event, parking will be available at all locations; however, please note that parking at St. Johns Yacht Harbor is paid. Following the ceremony at St. James, transportation will be provided to Estuary for the Toast to Forever and then to St. Johns Yacht Harbor for our Sunset Sail Reception aboard the Carolina Girl. After the reception, we suggest Ubering or ridesharing back to your hotel or continuing on to the Irish Goodbye at Seanachai. We will have a smaller 14 passenger van available for shuttling people to the after party at Seanachi! If you plan to ride the bus with us, here are a few options to consider for getting to and from the start and end of the day: - Uber to the ceremony and then Uber home from the boat or to the after party at Seanachai - Drive and park at the ceremony, Uber home after the event, and return for your car the next day - Park at the Yacht Harbor or Seanachi, Uber to the ceremony, and have your car waiting for you at the final stop (again, Yacht Harbor parking is paid)

What does one wear to a yacht wedding?

Answer

In true Charleston fashion, we encourage bright colors, linens, florals, or prints - whatever fits your style best! April in Charleston is nothing short of stunning with temps in the mid-70s and sunset right around 8:00pm. We have a fully packed day, so be sure you're in something you can wear all day long. The Carolina Girl does not allow pointy heels, so ladies may want to opt into wedges or plan to have a change of shoes for the boat. We're sure it'll make for a more lively dance floor too!

Will food and drinks be served?

At Estuary we will provide beverages & bar snacks for speeches and toasts. On The Carolina Girl there will be an open bar, hors d'oeuvres, plated stations with pasta & braised short rib options, and cake!
