Maid of Honor
Annalise is my childhood best friend. We went from kindergarten through our undergraduate degrees at the University of Alberta together. She’s now in law school at Dalhousie University, and I’m so grateful to have shared so many stages of life with her by my side.
Best Man
Greg is my younger brother (by one year) and best friend. Like most brothers, we spent much of our childhood competing and wrestling, but now we enjoy spending lots of time together. We share a love of comedy, skiing, and saunas, among other things, and we also work together as business partners.
Bridesmaid
Hailey came into my life by chance in my second year at the University of Alberta, and she’s been one of my closest friends ever since. We lived together during our third and fourth years and did just about everything together. She’s now an environmental scientist in Edmonton.
Best Man
Matt has been my best friend since 3rd grade. Our childhood was filled with late-night video game sleepovers and weekend basketball tournaments. We continued playing basketball and volleyball through middle and high school, and I had the honor of being his Best Man at his wedding in Summer 2024.
Bridesmaid
Hannah is my little sister, and she’s studying psychology at UBC Okanagan. One of the best parts of being in Kelowna is getting to spend more time with her, especially on our spur-of-the-moment shopping dates and sleepovers.
Groomsman
Eric attended law school at TRU with Megan and we became close friends through our mutual obsession with basketball. While living in Kamloops, we spent a lot of time playing pickup, going skiing and (over)eating.
Bridesmaid
Jayme and I met the week before law school during an impromptu meet-up, and we’ve been inseparable ever since! We took all the same classes just so we could study together, and we share a love for working out and the outdoors. She is now a lawyer in Ontario.
Groomsman
Jackson and I met our first year playing college basketball in Grande Prairie and bonded over the adjustment to university life and living away from home. We were roommates for a couple years and have remained close even with living in different cities for the past 5+ years.
Bridesmaid
Nicole and I met on the first day of law school during orientation, and we’ve been best friends ever since! Living just two minutes apart in Kamloops meant we spent lots of time together, from going to boxing classes, to teaching her how to cross-country ski, and saving her from eating frozen pasta.
Groomsman
Jared and I met in 7th grade playing basketball and volleyball and stayed close through middle and high school. Now, we’re lucky to both live in Kelowna, where we regularly hang out, hit the golf course together, and (binge) drink at local breweries.
Bridesmaid
Steph is my bonus little sister, and I’m grateful to have had her in my life for the past six-plus years. She’s currently studying nursing at UBC Okanagan, and I’m so happy that we live in the same city. We share a love of shopping, reality TV, and spending time with Derek.
Groomsman
Mark and I first met on the same basketball team when we were 9 and reconnected in high school. We share a love of basketball and talking about movies and TV, and I was honored to stand beside him at his wedding this past September.
