We initially met on the dating app Hinge. We matched and messaged, then through time things fell off. Some time later, during the RVA Pride event on Brown's Island, I coordinated and met with a friend from work who was also planning to attend. Connor was there with him - turned out, they were roommates! We spent the rest of the day playing coy, unsure if the other knew that we had connected once before. Turns out, we both had realized the whole time. We hit it off that day and have spent almost every day together since.

During one of Connor's family's annual beach trips to the OBX, he and some of his younger siblings accompanied us out for a morning stroll on the beach. It was there that he got down on one knee and asked me to be his partner for life. I immediately said "yes!" and we were engaged. We are elated to celebrate this chapter of our lives with you and cannot wait to see you all on the big day. Let's party on the Farm!
