Our wedding will be a black-tie optional affair! All dress colors are welcome (exception: white/cream) and dark colored attire for men. We invite you to dress in formal attire—tuxedos and evening gowns are preferred, but a suit or a formal cocktail dress is also perfectly appropriate. We can’t wait to see everyone looking fabulous!
Yes! There will be parking available for both the ceremony and the reception, see below for details: Ceremony Parking Guests will have several parking options near St. Paul’s Cathedral: - Cathedral Lot: Parking is available in the St. Paul’s Cathedral lot directly behind the church. - N. Dithridge Street Lot: There is a lot along N. Dithridge Street on the side of the Cathedral with approximately 38–40 spaces, including some accessible spots. - Street Parking: Any available metered or free street parking nearby can be used. - Oakland Catholic Lot: Located along N. Craig Street. This lot is typically open to us during weekend Mass times—if the gate is open, guests are welcome to park there. - Nearby Garages: If the above options are full, there are a few garages nearby, including one on N. Dithridge (between Fifth and Forbes) and the Soldiers & Sailors Garage (a short walk from the church). Reception Parking For the reception at The Renaissance Hotel, there is a parking garage directly across the street: - Fort Duquesne & Sixth Garage (Pittsburgh Parking Authority): Typical rate is around $8. - Valet Parking: Guests may also valet their car at The Renaissance for added convenience.
Yes! There will be a shuttle service to and from the ceremony. This shuttle will depart The Renaissance Hotel at 3:10pm on Saturday for St. Paul Cathedral. The shuttle will also be available immediately following the ceremony to return to The Renaissance Hotel for Cocktail Hour and the Reception. NOTE: If you are staying at the SpringHill Suites or another nearby hotel and plan to use the shuttle service, please note that shuttles will only pick up guests from the Renaissance Hotel. Guests should arrive at the Renaissance by 3:10 PM in order to board the shuttle to the venue.
Your formal invitation will indicate if you have received a plus one. Please refer to it for details. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!
While we love your little ones, due to the formality of the event and limited capacity, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We hope you understand and take this as an opportunity to enjoy a night out! We can’t wait to celebrate together.
There are hotel room blocks available for our wedding at both the Renaissance Hotel as well as the Springhill Suites Pittsburgh North Shore hotel. You can find the links to these hotel room blocks on the "Travel" page of this website.
After the ceremony, guests can make their way over to The Renaissance Hotel, where cocktail hour will begin at 6:00pm in the upper balcony. The hotel bar will be open for guests to grab drinks and gather until the start of cocktail hour.
After the reception, Megan and Colin will make their "exit" down the grand staircase to the main lobby for an after-party with snacks and continued celebration! The hotel bar in the lobby will remain open until 2:30 AM. We can’t wait to keep the party going with you!
Please RSVP by April 18th. Kindly RSVP by selecting the “RSVP” tab, entering your full name, and following the prompts provided.
