July 14th, 2016 | Philadelphia, PA — The Odd Fellows' United Nations Pilgrimage Megan's dad drove her to Reading to join the group of Pennsylvania students on a bus to Philly. Coleman's flight from Texas arrived shortly after. As people continued to arrive from all over the country, Coleman and Megan found themselves joining a group heading to play Ultimate Frisbee at a park down the street from our Marriott Hotel. While walking back, like teenagers do, everyone started exchanging Snapchats. We started messaging each other that night, and we would foster our friendship for the next 10 days. These 10 days were enough for us to continue sending the occasional message over the course of the next 7 years. July 25th, 2023 | Reconnecting Megan had learned the day before that a work trip would be taking her to Texas, and so she had the crazy idea to reach back out to Coleman in hopes of getting a coffee and catching up. So she did. At 6:30 in the morning. Without thinking about it. Megan's work trip wasn't scheduled to happen until September. We would later discover this was, 7 years to the day, marking the end of the trip. January 2nd, 2024 | Long Distance After a roadtrip from Pennsylvania to Texas to attend a Halloween party at Coleman's family's home, Megan and Coleman would finally start a long distance relationship after the New Year. We took turns flying back and forth for the next 4 months. May 23rd, 2024 | Chattanooga, TN On the move to Quantico for Marine OCS, Coleman proposes in Chattanooga at the Rock City Gardens on top of Lover's Leap💜 August 8th, 2024 | Greenville, TX To honor their commitment to faith, Megan and Coleman tied the knot at Authentic Life Fellowship in Greenville, TX just before moving to South Dakota for Megan's graduate program. Now, on our second anniversary, we cannot wait to celebrate our wedding with you!
