Willard Airport

Champaign has 1 and only 1 airport - Willard! Although traditionally pricier than O'Hare or Midway in Chicago, you just can't beat the convenience! It's a quick 7-10 minute drive from the hotel; Uber and Lyft can easily be arranged for pick-up. Also, the gentleman who checks tickets/ID's for boarding is from Jasper County, so I always enjoy my pre-flight small talk!

O'Hare International Airport

O'Hare is always our preference when we fly to/from Chicago. On most days it is a 2 1/2 hour drive from the airport to Champaign-Urbana.

Hotel

Comfort Suites Urbana Champaign, University Area

We have a block of 20 rooms for May 25th and May 26th and more rooms can be added as needed. This is the 'fun' hotel - with a 24-hour pool and hot tub and no designated quiet times - and the manager said the hotel does get pretty rowdy on weekends. Shuttle service is complimentary and a schedule will be available for you to sign up when you check-in. Parking and a full hot breakfast are also complimentary. The room block is under Lindsey-Hecox Wedding and the best way to book is by calling 217-328-3500. Two room options are available: 1) 2 queen beds w/ a pull-out sofa, 2) 1 King bed with a pull-out sofa; room capacities are 6 adults and 4 adults respectively. The room rate is $129/night for Saturday, May 25th and $99/night for Sunday, May 26th for both room types. The hotel is pet friendly with no weight maximum for dogs; a $20 non-refundable pet fee is required. Rooms will be released by May 3rd if not booked - so be sure to get your reservation made early.

Residence Inn by Marriott Champaign

We have a block of 15 rooms reserved for May 25th and May 26th at the Residence Inn. The rooms will be held until 4/26/19 and will be released if they aren't booked. The room rate is $120.00/night plus taxes and fees. There is only one room type - a King Suite - which includes 1 King Bed and a sleeper sofa (4 people max/room). Check-in time is 3:00 pm and check-out time is 12:00 pm - early check-in can usually be accommodated. Rooms can be reserved through the hotel website or by calling 1-217-398-0000 and requesting a room in the Lindsey Wedding block. Parking is complimentary for all guests. Quiet hours begin at 10:00 pm and I'm told they are rather strictly enforced. This hotel is not pet friendly. All of the hotels we have rooms at are right beside one another. We will arrange shuttle service for everyone - more information will be coming.
