Flight
There are a few direct flights to Singapore from several major international hubs. Depending on where you're traveling from, you may also have one layover, which is very common and often provides more airline options and flexible pricing. We recommend checking flights early and exploring a few different airlines and routes to find what works best for you (Booking the flight a year out is not uncommon). Singapore’s airport is very well connected and easy to navigate, so once you arrive, you’ll be in great shape! If you need any help planning your route, we’re happy to help however we can.
Travel Note
Our main event will be in the heart of Chinatown, so we recommend staying nearby if you’d like to be in the center of the action. Chinatown & Tanjong Pagar are best known for incredible food, rich culture, trendy cafés, and a more local feel — all while still being very central. If you head about 10 minutes east (or just two train stops), you’ll reach the Central Business District and Marina Bay. This area is known for iconic, high-end hotels like Marina Bay Sands, famous landmarks, and stunning city views. About a 10-minute walk north brings you to Clarke Quay & Robertson Quay — perfect if you love lively nightlife, bars, and riverside dining. The good news: Singapore is incredibly compact and efficient. No matter which area you choose, you shouldn’t be more than about a 10-minute car or train ride from our events and where we’ll be spending most of our time.
Travel Note
We recommend ordering a car service to and from the airport, it’s the easiest option after a long travel day. You can also easily hail a taxi at the airport or around the city. Singapore does not use Uber or Lyft, so be sure to download "Grab" (the green logo app) ahead of time. It’s the main rideshare service and very convenient. That said, Singapore’s public transportation system is top-tier — fast, efficient, clean, and very affordable. It’s actually the primary mode of transportation for most people in the country. If you’re up for it, the MRT and buses are easy to navigate and a great way to experience the city like a local. No matter how you choose to get around, Singapore is incredibly accessible and simple to explore!
