Question

What is the meaning behind the thistle flower?

Answer

It symbolizes many things, such as unity, protection, and strength. It is well known in Scotland, which is not only the place where we got engaged, but also a country where Megan has a lot of family history.

Question

Why the plaid decor touches?

Answer

We adventured to Scotland for Casey's cousins wedding, and got engaged while hiking in the beautiful Scottish Highlands. The colors and the specific plaid design is from the Scottish Anderson clan, which Megan's family once was a part of. Hence one of Megan's middle names - Anderson. We wanted to incorporate some history as well as the place where we "sealed the deal".

Question

Why the hummingbird wax stamp?

Answer

When Casey and I first met and got to know each other on a deeper level, we realized his mom, Debra, and my great aunt Cindy absolutely ADORED hummingbirds. They both had hummingbirds incorporated in their lives. Hummingbirds are sentimental to the both of us, and symbolize the love and memories we share of not only them, but each other.
