Since it's a 3 day weekend, you might be coming early to spend extra time with us and to visit the area. Here are some fun things to do that are nearby!

There are a handful of wineries in the area, but we've personally been to Elkin Creek Vineyard and would highly recommend!

If you want to adventure outside, Stone Mountain State Park is only a 12 mile drive away. There's fishing, hiking, climbing, and waterfalls, if you're into that kind of thing.

Will and Megan have spent countless vacations in Asheville. It is one of their favorite places for food, hiking, and beer. The Biltmore Estate is worth a visit if you've never been!

Will got his first degree at Appalachian State, and Boone holds a special place in both our hearts. Also another great place for shopping, hiking, eating, and drinking.

Rocky Forest River offers 1.5-6 hours of self-guiding paddling tours. They have options including canoeing, kayaking, and river tubing.

There are thirty-six operating wineries and vineyards along the Yadkin Valley Wine Trail, open to the public for some combination of winery or vineyard tours, tasting and sales.

Swan Creek Wine Trail includes six wineries, all in close proximity to each other. Most Swan Creek Trail wineries are open Wednesday through Sunday, although winery hours vary seasonally.
