If staying for the weekend, we hope you have the chance to walk around both the town of New Hope as well as its neighbor Lambertville, just a short walk over the bridge to the NJ-side of the Delaware River. Fun New Hope stops include Farley's Bookstore, Heart of the Home, and New Hope Ferry Market (an indoor food market that houses the Sciascia's Chocolates, among other vendors). In Lambertville, there are art galleries and even more restaurants to explore.
While there may not be quite enough time to try here between our wedding ceremony and reception, if you're in town for the weekend, this is our favorite restaurant in New Hope where we've celebrated birthday's and anniversaries! We also highly recommend riverside restaurant Stella which has phenomenal food, drinks, and views!
We love their scotch cordials and their Cayenne spiced drinking chocolate each with it's own special kind of kick!
The Railroad runs hour-long scenic train rides around the local area. They have a bunch of different themed rides and it's a fun way to check out the surrounding countryside and farmhouses. The train picks you up and drops you off at the same location so you can't get lost!
The best places to park in New Hope are at the New Hope and Ivyland Railway, at New Hope Public Parking, 250 Union Square Drive, or in the riverside parking lot by the PNC bank.
