It was an average weekday in September, 2013 - junior year at UCF. After leaving campus for the day, Loren pulled up to his home at the time, a "charming" ranch-style house by a rancid man-made lake that always smelled of beer. Loren walked in and made his way to his bedroom, passing through the living room--where one of his roommates was glued to the couch with a friend of the female variety--having an animated discussion on some homework assignment. Loren, barely paying attention as usual, exchanged a quick acknowledgment as he passed by. Loren, always drawn toward humor, emerged from his room when he heard the sounds of laughter. He joined his roommate and guest on the old, mismatched couch and joined in the conversation. It was at this moment that Loren's eyes met Megan's--both held eye contact slightly longer than usual. The mutual infatuation was as evident as it was instant. When the conversation died down, Megan--who was sitting across the coffee table from Loren--decided to get up for "a glass of water." Although she easily could have reached the kitchen by walking to her left about five feet, she decided to walk to her right and around the entirety of the coffee table to get to the kitchen, passing by Loren in the process. Just after passing by Loren, Megan dropped her pencil. She looked back at Loren, said "oops," (Megan denies saying that) and then slowly bent over, never breaking eye contact with Loren while she fumbled around with the pencil. Loren was dumbfounded, but intrigued by this highly-questionable actress. Phone numbers were exchanged minutes later. The rest is history.
