Ceremony starts at 8:30 with ribbon hand outs. Please don’t be late, truly. Give yourself at least 40 mins to park and get through security and take elevator beside security to 4th floor. For local folks who need to go back to work, we'll probably wrap up photos at City Hall by 10:45am. There is parking at the Civic Center Parking lot underground in front of city hall or at the Opera a couple blocks away. If you find street parking, recommend staying on the west side of Van Ness and budget extra time for walking. Or, leave your car on street somewhere in city and uber to city hall (much easier than parking). Please be early and on time. Megan will arrive last with her dad Greg. Feel free to peer over the balcony when she goes up the main staircase.

Bring warm clothes and sneakers to change into. You can change into comfortable clothes for brunch if you like. Perhaps bring flip flops or hiking boots for sunset walk on beach.
Formal transportation not provided between city hall and pelican inn. Ubers TO the Pelican Inn from City Hall are easy to get. However Ubers from the Pelican Inn back to SF are hard to get as it’s remote. Unstructured time! We have rented the whole Pelican Inn for the night so folks can hangout as long as they like before they go back to SF. We may play games. We may have a cup of tea together to go to bed early. Who knows. Megan, Brandon, Betsy, Greg, Kerin, Ben, Alex, Amelia, and Thomas will stay at Pelican Inn for the night. Note there are no additional rooms.
