Man of Honor
Megan and Andrew first met at the age of 14, and from the first day of high school and beyond they were inseparable. They spent almost every afternoon together and had an untold number of sleepovers with way too many sour patch kids. Megan's mom still refers to Andrew as her son. When they went off to college (Andrew to Vermont and Megan to Massachusetts), they kept in touch as much as possible. Even if months would pass, when they picked back up again, Megan says, “it’s like we didn’t even miss a day.” They still try to schedule a visit at least once a year. One of Megan’s fondest memories with Andrew was an insane road trip from Massachusetts to Montreal and back to Boston within 48 hours to see two separate concerts. Even though they were insanely tired from the trip, got pulled over in Canada, and took the wrong train to Boston, there wasn't a single moment of unhappiness.
Best Man
There is only a year between John and Paul, something that one of Paul’s teachers once called “Irish Twins.” Paul has never thought he looked enough like John to consider him a twin as there are enough differences between him and John that there probably isn’t enough space to write. Nonetheless, being so close in age and spending so much of their lives together as young men has made John the person who knows Paul the best other than Megan and since Paul can’t make the person he’s marrying his best man, that leaves his brother as the most fitting person to be his best man for his wedding and can’t think of anyone better to be in that role.

Megan and Kerrigan were accidental roommates in college. Megan was supposed to be put in a triple and Kerrigan was supposed to be in a double with a former friend, and somehow they got mixed up. Fortunately, when Megan's roommate left, a new spot was open, and a new best friend was made. They were roommates for the rest of college and often still talk about starting a commune together. One of Megan's favorite memories with Kerrigan is one she talks about often. They both ate dried fish out of a shack on a hill in Iceland... a local told them to, and to this day they still don't know if it was a prank. Be sure to ask Kerrigan what she thought of it! But exploring this gorgeous country, and being goofballs at the Blue Lagoon, and experiencing life outside of their own little worlds made Megan feel more brave and adventurous and beautifully small in a big world than she ever had before. She is forever grateful for that experience.
Groomsman
Paul met Dan back in sixth grade at Murdoch middle school. From there, Paul and Dan have been tight and spent a lot of time together as they went to the same school until senior year. Dan has always been honest whether or not he meant to be, including telling him who actually crashed into Paul’s car. When they weren’t at shows or hangs with the rest of the guys, they’d spend all night at the 24 hour Dunkin’ Donuts in North Billerica listening to someone tell insane conspiracy theories. Paul considers Dan a great and loyal friend and that is why he’s a groomsman.

Megan and Kate actually should have been friends a lot sooner. They both grew up in Fremont, NH and went to elementary school together before Megan moved away in the fourth grade. Apart, they grew up with similar interests and passions, and that brought them back together by chance to the same college dorm. It was there, sitting at the kitchen table on their first night that they recognized each other. They also plan to live in a commune together. Megan's favorite memory with Kate was difficult to choose, but the moment means a lot to her. It was on a short drive to pick up donuts the morning of Hannah and Caleb's wedding when Megan asked Kate what she thought about being married (having been married at that time for two years). Kate's response was simple, sweet and incredibly moving, and made Megan feel like they had both found their perfect love stories.
Groomsman
Phil actually knew Paul’s brother John way before they met but a mutual love for punk music brought Phil and Paul together. Phil is an incredibly talented musician, having fronted a handful of successful bands that Paul counts among some of his favorite musically, and ones that he has made great memories seeing play everywhere from the Anchors Up in Haverhill to UnchArted in Lowell. Whenever Paul meets up with Phil it always feels like no time has passed since they were teenagers and is happy to count him among his groomsmen.

Megan and Hannah also met in their freshmen dorm which housed nine people in one apartment. Hannah was by far the quietest, which made it that much better whenever she would spill the tea. Fortunately, as the numbers dwindled each passing year and the list of roommates got smaller and smaller, Hannah was one that stuck around. Even senior year when she started commuting instead of living on campus, she would still stop in to visit. She's going to join the commune as well, even if she doesn't know it yet. One of Megan's favorite memories with Hannah was going to visit her and Caleb in their house for the first time. Seeing her in her element, showing everyone around this new place that they had worked hard to build and fix up and make beautiful was so inspiring. They sat together by the fire and talked about the neighbors' goats, and her goals for her new home, and thought big and silly thoughts about the future.

The first time Paul met Tyler was at skate fest 2010. When everyone wasn’t at Cam’s house we were at Tyler’s messing around on old WWE games or playing records and breaking ceiling tiles (Paul’s bad) where Tyler’s dad would just basically bully Paul. Tyler now lives in Florida but that doesn’t stop Paul from considering him a great enough friend to be his groomsman. . . .
