Yes, the ceremony will be held on the ground’s lawn, and cocktail hour will be held on the patio. Keep this in mind when selecting your footwear!
The ceremony and reception are formal attire/black tie optional. It will be the middle of summer, and it could be hot (… and our venue does not have air conditioning), so wear something that will be comfortable and able to dance in!
Yes, in the event of bad weather, both the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held indoors
We will have two trolleys available to bring guests to and from the venue and The Pell. Guests are welcome to drive themselves, but please arrive by 4:45p to allow for time to park.
There are plenty of parking options, all a short walk to the venue. When driving into the venue there are two parking lots at the top of the hill and a lower lot with limited parking around the round about. Please do not drive all the way down to the venue entrance unless you'd like to be dropped off. To avoid congestion by the entrance we request you only drop off if you are unable to walk from the lots.
There are two airports if you're flying in for our celebration. Providence International (PVD) is a ~40 minute drive to the hotel, and takes you over Narragansett Bay and the Pell Bridge ($4) toll. Boston Logan International (BOS) is a larger airport and is ~1 hour 20 minute drive to the hotel. Consider a rental car or check-in on rideshare rates!
