Where To Stay

The Wedding Website of Meg Kassabaum and Marc D'Agostino
Philadelphia is a city of neighborhoods. We want you to experience it the way that best fits YOU, so here's a guide to where you might want to stay. CENTER CITY offers easy access to a ton of cool stuff and is well connected by public transit. It’s walkable to historic Old City, great museums, majestic City Hall, beautiful Rittenhouse Square, and lots of good restaurants and shopping. OLD CITY is where the Declaration of Independence was written and signed. It’s also home of the Liberty Bell, the Betsy Ross House (where the first U.S. flag was sewn), and the National Constitution Center. CHESTNUT HILL is in the city, but feels more like a suburb. Its main drag is cobblestoned Germantown Ave, an adorable street with good shopping and restaurants, and it's a ten minute Lyft from the venue. BALA CYNWYD (pronounced kin-wid, thank the Welsh, but you can call it “Bala”) is a suburb right across the Schuykill River (skoo-kill, thank the Dutch); it's a ten minute Lyft from the venue.

House Or Rental

AirBnB

AirBnB is a great way to find fun and unique places to stay in Philly. If you want to stay in the city, look in: Center City, Rittenhouse, Society Hill, Old City, Fitler Square, Queen Village, Graduate Hospital, Bella Vista, Italian Market, Fairmount/Art Museum, and Washington Square. A bit closer to the venue are: Chestnut Hill, Mount Airy, Manayunk. Slightly farther and more suburban: Bala Cynwyd, Merion Station, Narberth, and Ardmore. Feel free to text or email us if you want opinions on a place you're considering!

Hotel

The Notary Hotel (center city)

21 North Juniper Street
Philadelphia, PA 19107

A good spot right next to City Hall, and usually not too expensive; this is an old-fashioned, slightly eclectic spot.

Hotel

Marriott (Old City)

One Dock Street
Philadelphia, PA 19106

Right on the Delaware river, this is nice spot near the shopping and restaurant district in Old City.

Hotel

Penn's View Hotel (Old City)

With a little more old-school character, this one is not a chain hotel, and it can be pretty affordable. It is right next to the Franklin Fountain - a super old-school ice cream shop.

Good accommodations in an office-park type spot.

For all the days along the way
