We are excited to have you visit Philadelphia! We hope you get the chance to spend some time in the city while you are here. Below are some recommendations for some fun things to do during the weekend.

This is a fantastic children's science museum with a planetarium, and is also a ton of fun for adults! Meghan and David both went to a lot of school trips here growing up.

The Franklin Institute

Eastern State was the world's first penitentiary and once housed Al Capone. The tours through the crumbling prison are incredibly interesting. We went last fall and learned a lot!

Eastern State Penitentiary

Art museum holding a massive collection of works, including a number of impressionist paintings. The museum was originally located not too far from David's childhood home in Merion, PA.

Barnes Foundation

Victory makes some of our favorite Philadelphia beer! This taproom is really close to the hotel and has a nice rooftop deck.

Victory Brewing Company Philadelphia

Historic market with shops and food stalls! David and Meghan love coming here on dates when they are in Philly.
