We recommend booking your accommodations as soon as you can. Gearhart is a small town and a frequent weekend destination for people from the Portland area. Visit the travel section for our recommendations on where to stay!
In early September, Gearhart typically enjoys mild and pleasant weather, with daytime temperatures ranging from the mid-60s to low 70s. Evenings are definitely cooler, so we recommend bringing a light jacket or sweater. The coastal breeze adds a refreshing touch and sometimes a little mist so layers can be key! We encourage you to check the forecast before packing your bags.
The wedding and reception will be outside on grass.
Children are invited if your invitation states "family". Additonally, you will be able to see if your children are invited when you RSVP.
We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest friends and family! If your invitation includes a guest, they’re absolutely invited—otherwise, we’re keeping it intimate and sticking to the guest list as is. Thanks for understanding!
Our wedding will be outdoors on grass. For that reason, stilettos or other thin heels are not recommended.
There is parking at the venue. If you plan on drinking and are staying in Gearhart, we encourage you to walk to the venue. The Gearhart hotel is no more than a 20-minute walk from anywhere in town!
Shelby's VERY talented cousin, Aaron sketched it from a photo we gave him. You can see more of his work on his Instagram @aaronhollomon!
