The ceremony is at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church in Plymouth, Minnesota.

Answer

The reception will be held at the Westin Edina Galleria hotel in Edina, Minnesota. The Westin is about 20 minutes away from the church.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony at St. Mary's begins at 2:00 p.m. Please arrive between 1:15 p.m. and 1:45 p.m.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our friends and family get dressed up with us! The dress code is formal and black-tie optional. Ladies please refrain from wearing colors that are traditionally reserved for the bride (white, ivory, etc.)

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited capacity, we can only allow the people listed on each invitation. Your invitation will be made to "{your name} & Guest" if a plus one has been given to you.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

Although we love all of your kiddos, our wedding is an adult-only celebration.

Question

Can I take pictures and viedos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that no photos or videos are taken during our ceremony. You are welcome and encouraged to take photos of the rest of the day, but we want to honor the church and have our ceremony be a technology-free space.

Question

What is the parking situation?

Answer

For the ceremony, St. Mary of the Lake has plenty of open parking. There are two visible doors from the parking lot, please enter through the door on the right. For the reception, the Westin has limited above-ground parking. There is a parking ramp behind the building or a valet service at the front of the hotel.

Question

What should I do between the ceremony and cocktail hour?

Answer

There are two hours between the conclusion of the ceremony and the beginning of cocktail hour. We recommend checking into the hotel, grabbing a drink at a local bar, or browsing the Galleria. See the "Things To Do" page for ideas.
