Sharon was the Resident Shepherd on Sarah's hall freshman year. The first time they met, Sharon sat and prayed over the start of Sarah's school year and her first PT test. A few weeks later, Sarah reached out to Sharon and they ended up going to dinner together - and then kept sharing meals almost weekly for the next three years. Sharon exudes peace, comfort, and joy, and has the unique ability to invite a bunch of strangers-to-each-other into her home and have them all feel as though they've known each other for years.
Abigail Payne

Abigail is the oldest of the Payne girls, and it's not hard to tell. She's mature, a natural leader, and is always looking for ways to help and serve those around her. Sarah has a stash of years-old notes of encouragement and meaningful scriptures that Abigail has sent her since early high school that still remind Sarah of how much she is loved. Abigail is eager to share what God is doing in her life with those around her. Sarah has loved watching Abigail pursue her passion for international and college ministries over the past few years, and is so excited to see the ways the Lord works through her in the coming years.
Elizabeth Payne

Elizabeth is the life of every party. She loves to dance, always has a witty response ready to go, and loves experimenting with new styles. In high school, Sarah and Elizabeth rode the bus to school together, and Elizabeth regularly made Sarah laugh so hard she cried. Even now, halfway across the country, they call frequently to catch up and share the joys and frustrations of college life.
Hannah Payne

As the youngest of four girls, Hannah definitely had to find unique ways to chart her own path; she's incredibly talented and is constantly looking for new hobbies to get into. Whatever she pursues, she excels at and Sarah is so excited to see where her talents and interests carry her. Although she is quiet when you first meet her, once she warms up she is one of the goofiest, most fun-loving people you'll meet.
Katy Bloker

Katy is Sarah's oldest friend - going wayyy back to junior year of high school, as it goes for military kids. They both now attend Liberty University, where their friendship has deepened through homework dates, visiting local cafes, and daydreaming about traveling Europe together. Katy's love for people shines through her hospitality and eagerness to spend time with others. She has an adventurous spirit and is always looking forward to her next trip, especially if it's international.
Julia Munson

Julia has such a positive, relaxed outlook on life. She's easy-going and always eager to go on adventures and try new things. She has a knack for finding great restaurants and has introduced Daniel and Sarah to many of their Lynchburg favorites. Sarah is so excited to gain another sister in Julia.
Stephan Petett
Best Man
Stephan and Daniel first met at LU ROTC, where they became fast friends. They eventually attended Basic Training together at Ft. Benning and served in the same National Guard unit for two years. Stephan has been a constant friend to Daniel throughout his time at Liberty and inspires Daniel to be a better man and soldier.
Joe Brake

Joe and Daniel grew up together as best friends and classmates in Malaysia. They share many common interests and hobbies, which has helped them stay close over the years. Joe is currently studying to be a missionary and continually inspires Daniel to have a rooted faith.
Levi Morris
Groomsman
Levi and Daniel met in Kansas during the initial stages of the lockdown. He has a quiet confidence, a kind nature, and a love of the outdoors that is contagious. If you can't find him, he's probably out fishing! Daniel looks forward to getting to know Levi better in the years to come.
