Historical and beautiful Pemaquid Point is a relatively quick drive from Linekin and would be a perfect morning or afternoon trip. Gorgeous views (and tasty ice cream) await you.
Another great option if you have a couple of extra days to spend in the area is the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Mt. Washington is the highest in the northeast and the most majestic mountain east of the Rockies. You can drive up the auto road or find a beautiful hike in the area.
