Are children invited?

Answer

We love your children, but this will be a child-free wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. We hope that our guests with children are able to join us and utilize this as a parents’ night out.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We will only be able to accommodate those listed explicitly on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding!

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP by Wednesday, September 16th, 2026. We will have information regarding RSVP shared once invitations have been mailed.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We ask that guests adhere to a formal dress code. Please no jeans, graphic tee shirts, and of course, please reserve white dress for the bride.

Is the wedding indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The ceremony is located outside on the banks of the Connecticut River, with a cocktail hour immediately following on the patio of the River’s Edge Marina. Reception will follow inside the River’s Edge Marina ballroom.

What is the typical weather at the venue this time of year?

Answer

In November, the average high is about 52 degrees fahrenheit, with a low of 36 degrees fahrenheit. While we don’t expect snow, do expect to see the leaves beginning to change!

What is the most convenient airport to travel in/out of?

Answer

Many guests will find Bradley International Airport (BDL - Hartford/Springfield) to be most convenient, as it is located about 30 miles north of the venue, however additional airports within a 90 minute radius include Tweed New Haven Airport (HVN - New Haven) and TF Green Airport (PVD - Providence, RI).
