Tessa and Pawel met in their first semester at Florida State University in a pre-medical group chat (spoiler - neither of them graduated pre-med), where they became close friends and began dating in Fall 2018. Throughout college, the pair went to football games, explored the Tallahassee food scene (especially Madison Social), and spent countless hours studying together. When Tess graduated from FSU in 2020, their relationship evolved into long-distance - Tess in Boston and Pawel in Tallahassee - which proved to be easier said than done. After Pawel graduated from the FSU College of Engineering in 2023, he moved to New London, CT to both begin his career as a Systems Engineer at General Dynamics, but also to be closer to Tess who was living in Boston at the time. While in Montreal for the Osheaga music festival in 2024, Pawel popped the question in Place d’Armes in front of the Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal, where Tess said yes! Tess and Pawel moved in together in late 2024 and now live in a quiet town on the Connecticut River. The couple is excited to share the biggest day of their lives with their friends and family on November 7, 2026!
