David and I met in one of the most conventional ways in modern times. No, not in a bar and no, not in college. David and I met with the help of the internet, and I have never been more grateful for modern technology. It actually all happened by accident, or fate, which is how I prefer to see it. I forgot to set my boundaries on my dating profile, and lucky for us, up popped David's profile, some 125 miles away. We got to chatting, and found out that we actually had quite a bit in common. When we were trying to come up with a time for us to meet in person, David generously offered to drive all the way to Cape Cod...on a Friday night...in the middle of July to take me out on our first date (clearly a keeper from that moment on). Other than the meeting location, the date was a complete surprise to me, as David picked the restaurant and just told me what time to show up. Pretty risky for a girl meeting a guy off a dating app, but David was special and different from his first message. We went out to eat at a cute little restaurant in downtown Falmouth, and closed the restaurant down. Without wanting the night to end, we made our way over to an equally adorable Mexican restaurant to have drinks at the bar. We wrapped up our first date with the bar closing, and the rest is history. Fate has played a heavy hand in our relationship, and brought the two of us together at the perfect time in each of our lives. We know who we are as individuals, and compliment one another as a couple. Our love story may not have had a conventional beginning...or maybe it has, times are certainly changing, but it is certainly my favorite love story. We look forward to spending the weekend with all of you, celebrating our commitment to one another and joining our families together! Love, David and Hannah
