Daniel and I met in September of 2024....on a dating app. Hold your judgement and hear us out. He messaged me asking me on a date, to which I agreed...then I stood him up...three times. But daniel was sweet and shrugged off my absent mindedness and apologies. Till he finally asked me to go line-dancing at the American Legion in Thurmont (I was more excited to line dance than anything else). We both met up inside and for some reason I was SO nervous, till he came striding over with a big sheepish smile with his hand outstretched. He gave me a handshake, I was baffled, that was a first. Well to make a long story short, we goofily danced around and nervously asked each other hundreds of questions before ending the night with a hug....yes a hug. But thats danny for you, respectful, sweet and kind. Once again, all a first for me. One date became two, then two became ten and by the end of October he was asking me to be his girlfriend...after I begged him to hurry up. Over the past year and a half, we've shared trips, laughs, families, deadlines, birthdays, holidays and memories. But now it's time to get married!! He asked me to be his wife on November 2nd 2025 (exactly one year after I introduced him to my family) during our photoshoot that we gifted to each other for our one year anniversary. Never did we imagine those two goofy teenagers who became best friends overnight would now be saying I do. But gosh are we EXCITED!!
