Despite going to the same college for about a year, and running in the same circles, we still managed to never meet until one fated day. Jesse was with a mutual friend walking down the hall and I happened to be standing there. I saw Jesse and was instantly intrigued. I'm naturally a very shy person, but something about Jesse made me want to introduce myself. I eagerly shot out my hand and said "HI I’M MICHELLE.” The rest, as they say, is history.

Jesse decided to propose while we were in Hawaii. This proved tricky as he wanted to do it where they filmed a specific scene in Jurassic Park. Jesse found out mid-tour we would not be going there, so he had to call an audible. He sneakily asked the tour guide where would be the best place to pop the question. She told him we would be going on a hike to an area that overlooked the entire island. As luck would have it, it rained the morning of and the hiking path was wet and slippery. With nothing but a cliff on the other side, I made it up the hill but not without thinking/feeling like I was going to die. We finally get there and Jesse hands his camera to the tour guide to take a picture of us. We pose, and then Jesse gets down on one knee and asks "Will you be my wife?" I obviously said yes ;)
