Greg and Meenal met during their first year at American University in 2014, and they have been inseparable since. Even after Meenal moved away from DC in 2017, Greg and Meenal continue to hang out virtually every single week to play games together.

Anna and Meenal met at American University’s gaming club back in 2014. They bonded over a love of Ticket to Ride and all things cheese. They’ve continued to visit one another long after Meenal left DC, remaining one of Meenal’s closest friends to this day.

Will and Meenal met at American University’s gaming club in 2016. They bonded over a love of social deduction games, particularly One Night: Ultimate Werewolf. They continue to hang out virtually to play games with one another, and they are close confidants for one another.

Kristie was Meenal’s “second year buddy” when she began her graduate program in Rochester. Kristie and Meenal met periodically to support one another through the program, and they quickly became good friends. They enjoy many long chats with one another, and several game nights together, too. Kristie has been there for Meenal since her first date with Kevin and has been a huge supporter of the relationship. Kristie helped teach Meenal all about cats when she became a new pet owner as well.

Meenal and Kimberly both attended the same graduate program at the University of Rochester, and the two became fast friends. They were confidants and comrades through a challenging program, and they both learned and healed so much from one another. They continue to bond over long cross country phone calls.

During the pandemic, Meenal was Brenna’s manager when they worked together on the New York State Contact Tracing Initiative. The two bonded during the job, and afterward they became close friends. Brenna was a huge support for Meenal in helping her with her kittens, going to look at engagement rings together, and in the difficult times of the pandemic. The two love playing story-based games together.

Kevin met Ian through Dustin in the summer of 2014. The three of them met up at a bar and drank Genny together all night long. A week later, Ian and Kevin grabbed another drink together and, somehow, made plans to hang out in a cabin in the woods of the Adirondacks. Surprisingly, this did not result in a horror movie - instead, the two became fast friends and all three of them would move in together a year later. Through ups and downs, highs and lows, disagreements and concord, Kevin has never once hesitated to call Ian a good friend. Anyone lucky enough to know Ian knows that once you've got him in your corner, he'll fight for you till the end.

Mike and Kevin met while working together at Frontier. They quickly bonded over the terrible management, awful policies, and all-around terrible experience. A few months later, Mike would invite Kevin over for a night of Dungeons and Dragons. The two remain good friends to this day and, one day, God willing, may even complete a campaign together.

Evan and Kevin met in 9th grade after Dustin convinced Kevin that he would "definitely get along with Evan". Much to the chagrin of all, Dustin had hit a bullseye with that statement because Kevin and Evan became good friends very quickly. After college, Kevin invited Evan to Mike's place for D&D and he soon became a regular fixture on Sunday game nights. Their friendship is founded on mutual respect and constant ragging on each other over tiny, stupid things.

Dustin is Kevin's oldest friend, having met in middle school at McQuaid Jesuit. Whether it's video games, anime, bizarre subculture internet forums, or terrible cocktails, a conversation with Dustin rarely follows expectations. Dustin once shared his home with Kevin when he was temporarily unhoused and Kevin repaid the favor by making Dustin's life a living hell.

Patrick and Kevin met before Pat had gained sentience. A few years later, Pokemon would be released for the Nintendo Game Boy and the two decided that this would be their personality for a while. Pat is a charming and charismatic human who always shows patience with annoying people (Kevin) who test his limits (Kevin), and for that Kevin (Kevin) is forever grateful.

When he's not warming the benches at his local Ultimate game, Jeremy can be found generally hanging out, relaxing, and being generally a chill person. And yet, somehow, he still manages to tolerate his cousin Kevin.
