Kevin and Meenal decided that they wanted to create a new last name after marriage. After a lot of thought, Winter was born. Winter represents a season of love, family, beauty, and peace.

Kevin was born and raised in Rochester, NY, and Meenal moved to Rochester in 2017. They met online in May of 2018 - coincidentally, they lived just a mile away from each other. In only a few days of chatting they bonded over a shared love of board and video games. They had their first date at The Owl House, a vegan restaurant in Rochester, beginning their long culinary journey through different cultural cuisines. To this day, they have both made a point to try new things together and share their experiences with each other. Together they have two beautiful cats, Gizmo and Potato, who they are obsessed with. They enjoy long drives, trying new restaurants together, fruit picking, and of course, playing games together every day.

Their proposal was straight out of a fairytale. They had been discussing it for a long time, but Kevin set up something beyond Meenal’s wildest dreams. He took her to her favorite restaurant, set up a heated pod outside full of twinkling lights, and had the menu custom designed to be stocked full with Meenal’s favorites - down to the sparkling apple cider to celebrate. The ring was even brought out on a platter. Given that it was New Years Eve, they capped off the perfect night with fireworks on the horizon.
